The rod is in near flawless condition from tip top to butt cap. This SLT is in great condition. The cork has no chips and no cracks and is flawless as well.

I would agree with the idea that the shop owner may be somewhat liable for selling a rod that according to Sage, "DEMO stamped rods are not meant to be sold".
