The aim of the EFU is to provide Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment in an emergency care setting to older people with frailty. The Acute Frailty Unit is supported by 1 SpR, 2 other middle grade doctors, an IMT, a GPST and Foundation trainees. Training and educational supervision will be important parts of the job.
